About Me
I am a qualified counsellor working in private practice in Wirral, UK and as a volunteer for Compass, a charity providing free counselling for the people of Merseyside. I also provide stress counselling for staff at a local company and at a large nursing home as part of their Health and Safety at Work provision.
In addition, I am an authorised tutor for the Bridge Pastoral Foundation (formerly the Clinical Theology Association) and, in this capacity, regularly facilitate groups and teach seminars in human development and pastoral care and counselling, both locally and nationally in England and Scotland.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psycotherapy (BACP) and I work to and within their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in both individual and group work. To that end, I receive regular supervision from a qualified supervisor and maintain my continuing personal and professional development (by attending seminars, conferences, workshops etc and by seeking my own personal counselling and spiritual direction)
